CEBU CITY, Philippines — An unemployed man from Cebu has become an instant multi-millionaire after winning the jackpot prize in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Ultra Lotto 6/58 draw on February 20, 2026.

The lucky bettor, who requested anonymity, claimed the ₱75 million jackpot after presenting the winning ticket at the PCSO Cebu branch. Officials confirmed that the winning combination was 28-48-51-58-56-53, which matched all six numbers drawn.

PCSO representatives said the man, who has been unemployed for several months, purchased his ticket from a local outlet in Cebu City. “This is proof that anyone can win, regardless of their circumstances. We encourage winners to use their prize responsibly and seek financial guidance,” PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles stated.

The winner told PCSO staff that he plans to use part of his winnings to support his family and invest in a small business. He also expressed gratitude for the opportunity to change his life, saying the win was “a blessing beyond imagination.”

The Ultra Lotto 6/58 is one of PCSO’s biggest games, with minimum jackpots starting at ₱50 million. The prize pool had rolled over for several weeks before reaching ₱75 million, making it one of the most anticipated draws of the month.

PCSO reminded the public that lotto winnings are subject to a 20 percent tax under the TRAIN Law, meaning the net prize will be slightly lower than the announced jackpot. Despite this, the windfall remains life-changing for the unemployed winner, who joins the ranks of ordinary Filipinos whose fortunes have dramatically shifted thanks to the lottery.

This latest win adds to the growing list of jackpot winners in 2026, reinforcing the enduring popularity of PCSO’s lotto games across the country.
