 Stock Depot, a newly launched digital sourcing platform, is designed with micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in mind—particularly those starting out or transitioning from corporate careers into entrepreneurship.

Stock Depot was born out of a common sight across online and offline business communities: frequent queries asking where to source ingredients, raw materials, packaging or equipment. While these conversations reflect an active entrepreneurial ecosystem, they also highlight a persistent challenge—many business owners lack access to a reliable supplier network.

Built from Real MSME Pain Points

Founded by Cirene Chua, a food industry professional and kitchen operations consultant, Stock Depot was created to address the early-stage struggles faced by MSMEs. Chua observed that for new entrepreneurs and small business owners, sourcing often depends on informal networks, trial-and-error referrals, or scattered online recommendations.

“For many MSMEs, especially those just starting out or coming from corporate backgrounds, having a network makes a big difference,” Chua shared. “Stock Depot is meant to be a starting point—a place where you don’t have to ask the same sourcing questions over and over.”

Stock Depot is currently being built and operated as a one-person team, allowing the platform to grow intentionally and remain closely aligned with user needs. Early feedback from MSME owners and suppliers plays a direct role in shaping its development.

Creating Value for Both Businesses and Suppliers

Stock Depot is designed as a shared platform that supports both sides of the sourcing process:

  • Businesses, especially MSMEs and new entrepreneurs, can post what they are looking for and connect directly with relevant suppliers—without relying solely on referrals or social media groups.

  • Suppliers, including seasoned ones, can gain access to more targeted opportunities. Instead of relying only on sales agents or cold outreach, suppliers can receive direct inquiries and requests for quotation (RFQs) from businesses that are actively searching—resulting in warmer, intent-driven leads.

By matching supplier visibility with real demand, Stock Depot helps reduce inefficiencies on both sides of the transaction.

To support trust-building in its early rollout, the platform offers a free verification badge to qualified businesses and suppliers.

Growing with the MSME Community

Stock Depot is currently onboarding early users while refining features based on real-world use starting with the F&B Industry. The platform is focused on building practical tools that support MSME growth, rather than rapid expansion.
