BATANGAS — The Batangas provincial government has officially commenced construction of the new Rosario District Hospital in Barangay Sta. Cruz, Rosario, following a groundbreaking ceremony held on January 12. The planned five-story facility will feature a 125-bed capacity and include essential medical services such as an Intensive Care Unit (ICU), a Dialysis Center, and other critical healthcare departments.

Provincial officials emphasized that the hospital aims to bring quality medical services closer to local communities, particularly residents of Rosario and nearby towns. With healthcare infrastructure often stretched thin in growing urban and rural areas, the new facility represents a major investment in public health, offering a broader range of services without the need for residents to travel to distant hospitals.
