MANILA, Philippines — February 27, 2026 — Former senator and boxing icon Manny Pacquiao announced that he is preparing to file multiple complaints against arrested vlogger Norman Mangusin, better known as Francis Leo Marcos.

Pacquiao revealed in a radio interview that he has gathered evidence against the controversial vlogger, who was recently taken into custody over separate charges of unjust vexation.

“May mga kaso akong isasampa sa kanya, hindi lang isa, but marami. Naka-prepare na lahat ‘yun, pati ‘yung mga ebidensya… Hindi ko pa nga na-meet itong taong ito. Gusto ko makita siya personally,” Pacquiao said in an interview with Super Radyo dzBB.

The boxing legend’s decision to pursue legal action came after Mangusin allegedly made offensive remarks against Pacquiao’s mother, Dionisia, during a livestream. In the video, Mangusin reportedly insulted her while responding to comments from netizens questioning his claims of “royal blood.” Pacquiao, upon seeing the footage, expressed outrage and said he would not let the matter pass without accountability.

Mangusin, who rose to notoriety during the pandemic for his flamboyant online persona and controversial statements, was arrested earlier this week following complaints filed by another vlogger. Authorities said he faces multiple counts of unjust vexation stemming from repeated online attacks and offensive remarks against fellow content creators.

Pacquiao’s move to file additional complaints is expected to intensify the legal troubles of Mangusin, who has long been accused of spreading false information and deceiving the public.
