FEBRUARY 17, 2026 — Pop Mart has officially planted its flag in Quezon City. On February 13, the global collectible giant opened its third Philippine store at SM North EDSA, marking its first permanent home in the north. For fans who’ve been trekking to Makati or Pasay just to get their fix, this is a big win. Finally, the blind box buzz is closer to home!

The opening wasn’t just about shelves and figures; it was a star-studded affair. Marian Rivera, Martin Nievera, Janice de Belen, and Jed Madela were among the celebrity collectors spotted at the launch, proving that Pop Mart’s charm cuts across generations.

And while Labubu remains the cult favorite, the spotlight was on Twinkle Twinkle, a soft, starry character created by Da Xin and A Li. Its philosophy — “stars can’t shine without darkness” — isn’t just cute packaging. It’s a reminder to nurture our inner child, a message that resonates in a city where stress and hustle often drown out play.

The 177-square-meter store at The Block is designed for relaxed browsing, with bright layouts and curated shelves that invite you to slow down.

But let’s be real: the heartbeat of Pop Mart is the blind box. That moment of suspense, the thrill of tearing open a sealed package, and the delight (or shock) of discovering which figure you got — it’s a ritual that keeps collectors hooked. And now, northern Metro Manila has its own stage for that drama.

Pop Mart isn’t just selling toys; it’s selling experiences, little bursts of joy tucked inside cardboard. For Quezon City residents, it’s proof that the north is no longer just a spectator in the lifestyle game — it’s a player.

With Pop Mart now in our backyard, are we ready to embrace the thrill of surprise as part of everyday life?
