JANUARY 1, 2026 — The Choco Mucho Flying Titans wasted no time making noise in 2026, unveiling a roster revamp that instantly lit up the volleyball scene. At the heart of the shake-up is the comeback of Eya Laure, who rejoins the Premier Volleyball League after sitting out last year due to a non-compete clause.

Laure, 26, isn’t just any addition. Standing at 5-foot-10, the outside hitter carries with her a résumé stacked with international mileage — silver at the AVC Nations Cup and back-to-back bronze medals in the SEA V.League. Fans have long awaited her return, and now she’s wearing purple.

Joining her are setter Alina Bicar, middle blocker Jaila Atienza, and the returning Caitlin Viray. Together, they inject fresh energy into a squad already anchored by Maddie Madayag, Kat Tolentino, Des Cheng, and Isa Molde. 

The announcement dropped right at midnight on New Year’s Day, with the team declaring: “A NEW ERA BEGINS.”

But roster changes also meant goodbyes. Choco Mucho parted ways with Royse Tubino, Bia General, Cherry Nunag, and Aduke Agunsanya, signaling a clear reset under coach Dante Alinsunurin. 

The Flying Titans are aiming higher after finishing fourth in last season’s All-Filipino Conference, 10th in PVL on Tour, and ninth in the Reinforced.
