November 23, 2025 – Nagpakasal na si Bb. Pilipinas Grand International 2019 Samantha Lo sa kanyang longtime partner na si Jannica Rubin. Ang masayang same-sex wedding ay naganap sa Brooklyn, New York, nitong nakaraang November 20 at ikinatuwa ng maraming tagasuporta ng magdyowa.

Sa kanyang Instagram, nagbahagi si Jannica ng isang napakagandang mensahe para kay Samantha. “You are the love of my life, and now I finally get to call you my wife. Thank you for choosing me through every mistake I’ve made, every challenge that tested us, and every moment of doubt life threw our way,” ani Jannica.

Dagdag pa niya, “Thank you for growing with me, not just in the easy seasons but in the messy, exhausting, imperfect ones too. Your patience hasn’t just held us together—it’s shaped me. Your trust hasn’t just supported me—it’s taught me how to love better, listen better, and show up better.”

Talaga namang ipinaglaban nina Samantha at Jannica ang kanilang relasyon sa loob ng siyam na taon. “For over 9 years, I’ve tested your strength, your heart, and your ability to keep believing in ‘us,’ and yet you’ve never stopped fighting for this love. You chose me even when it wasn’t convenient, even when it wasn’t simple, and that’s something I’ll carry with me for the rest of my life,” pahayag pa ni Jannica.

Nagsimula ang relasyon nina Samantha at Jannica noong 2016. Inalala ng beauty queen ang kanilang unang jeepney ride at ang pagkikita sa isang mall. Sa isang Instagram post, ibinahagi ni Samantha, “I know many of you are very excited for the launch of La Cucharita. Funny story, I accidentally deleted the file this morning. So while I fix that disaster, I’ll leave you with this pic to feed your kilig sensations today. Throwback to 2016, Jan took me on my first jeepney ride. We went to the mall, and on the way back home, we shared a Chatime original pearl milktea with 100% sugar added. One boba, one straw, my heart screaming, ‘WE’RE SHARING BOBA!!!’ My brain screaming, ‘SHE’S SO WORTH GETTING DIABETES FOR.’ And that’s the story of our first Jeepney ride.”

Sa comments section naman, mas detalyado ang ibinahaging alaala ng kanilang unang ride. “Full story: we were texting at that time and Jan promised me she would show me how to take public transit because I was very curious. So we set a date and time. I met her (her hair was suuuuper long at that time I remember as we dodged cars crossing the street it just waved like a blanket behind her), and we got on the jeep that took us to Ayala mall. I was the biggest person on that ride. I was so amazed by the experience and we were smiling at each other the whole time. She got Chatime and I never had Chatime before. I just knew it had too much sugar so I would never indulge in it. When we got on the jeep going back I was being tsansing and asked to try some and my heart was exploding that I was sharing a drink with her. I didn’t want the ride to end. The longer we got stuck in traffic the happier I was. The end. Lol.”
