“Let’s face it: it’s not compatible. Let’s find other better approaches out there. Let’s look for our own identity as a people,” pahayag ni Sereno sa isang press conference noong Martes kasama ang Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches (PCEC), gamit ang halo ng Filipino at Ingles.

“We shouldn’t have parents and their children fighting. So much is being kept from the parents, even under the bill itself, in the CSE alone… Is that future compatible with us?

“We are an independent country. We have our own abilities. We do not need to copy others. It’s really not compatible with Filipinos. This is like a foreign invasion. What the UN is pushing on us is like cultural imperialism,” paninidigan ni Sereno.

“Over the weekend, I finally read in detail Senate Bill 1979. And I was shocked,” wika ng pangulo.

“I was appalled by some elements of that. All this “woke” that they are trying to bring into our system… That every child has the right to try different sexualities. This is ridiculous. It is abhorrent. It is a travesty of what sexual and sex education should be to the children,” dagdag niya.
