GENERAL TINIO, Nueva Ecija — A man was shot dead while recording a heated argument at a solar farm in General Tinio, Nueva Ecija, police confirmed. 

The incident, which has drawn widespread attention, reportedly stemmed from a dispute over a foul-smelling comfort room.

According to reports, the victim had been filming the confrontation when gunfire erupted. He sustained gunshot wounds to the stomach and leg. 

In the video he was recording, the man can be heard pleading for help, shouting, “Tinamaan niyo ako, pre!” (“You hit me, bro!”) and later, “Tulungan niyo ako, itakbo niyo na ako!” (“Please help me, rush me to the hospital!”).

Authorities said the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital but did not survive his injuries. Police investigators have since launched a probe into the shooting and are searching for the suspect involved.

The tragic event has sparked discussions on safety and accountability, especially in public disputes that escalate into violence. 

Local officials have urged residents to remain calm and avoid confrontations that could lead to similar incidents.

As of now, the investigation continues, with authorities working to identify and apprehend the gunman. The case underscores the dangers of recording volatile situations and highlights the urgent need for conflict resolution measures in communities.
