OKTUBRE 8, 2025 — Isasailalim sa immigration lookout bulletin order (ILBO) ang anim na prominenteng personalidad — Martin Romualdez, Chiz Escudero, Jinggoy Estrada, Joel Villanueva, Bong Revilla, at Nancy Binay — kasunod ng imbestigasyon ng Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) sa umano’y maanomalyang flood control projects sa bansa.

Sa liham na ipinadala ng ICI sa Department of Justice (DOJ) noong Oktubre 8, hiniling ng komisyon na bantayan ang pagbiyahe ng 35 indibidwal na posibleng may kaugnayan sa mga ghost projects at substandard na implementasyon ng flood control infrastructure.

Ayon kay ICI Chair Andres Reyes, “An initial investigation, with the cooperation of relevant coordinating agencies, on DPWH officials and key officers of certain construction companies, allegedly involved in ghost projects and/or substandard implementations of flood control projects, which is a matter under inquiry by the Commission, puts the subjects in a relevant position that operates to make him an inevitable personality during the fact-finding process.” 

(Batay sa paunang imbestigasyon, katuwang ang ilang ahensya, may kinalaman ang ilang opisyal ng DPWH at mga tauhan ng pribadong kompanya sa mga ghost projects at palpak na flood control, kaya’t mahalagang bantayan ang mga personalidad na ito habang nagpapatuloy ang pagsisiyasat.)

Dagdag pa ni Reyes, “to enable the Commission to proceed without delay and to hold those liable accountable to the Filipino people” (upang hindi maantala ang proseso at mapanagot ang dapat managot sa taumbayan).

Inatasan din ng ICI ang Bureau of Immigration na agad magbigay ng abiso sa anumang tangkang pagbiyahe ng mga nasabing indibidwal. 

Patuloy ang serye ng pagdinig ng ICI kaugnay ng umano’y multi-bilyong pisong anomalya sa flood control projects sa iba’t ibang panig ng bansa.
